Lead Generation

Niche lead generation

You Have Problems, We Have Answers

Qualified Lead = Paying Customer

The online lead generation model is exploding right now. At its heart, a lead generation website generates leads for a specific niche, line of work, or business. Most businesses want qualified leads that they can then turn into paying customers.

Our geolocalised niche websites will generate more or less leads depending on the local competition in that niche. This website is thus, for now, an experiment, as we go forward, we can track which local areas and which photography discipline generates the most leads. And we will update our offering accordingly.

With our lead generation websites, every lead generated will be offered to an established photographer in that locality or close to that locality only. When one of our sites gets an enquiry, or a phone call, it is just some information provided by a customer looking for a photographer in their specific area. We will forward this information to our photographer for that area, and it is their job to qualify that client and make a booking.

Every lead generation model differs greatly, however, the idea remains the same. For each qualified lead sent to a business, that business will need to give us a finder’s fee for the work we put in that led to that lead generation (the amount varies depending on the job referred).

PROS & CONS

Lead Generation That Works

Our lead generation business model is a great way to generate leads. It is quite passive as we are using organic sources, and are dependent on the position of our sites on Google or Bing, as well as the frequency of enquiries. We qualify our leads when the person looking for a photographer fills out a form on our sites or calls the phone number on the site. Most of our sites also use local numbers, to increase the trust factor of the person enquiring.
We mainly need to find photographers and business owners who will be willing to pay us per qualified lead.

Geolocalised lead generation sites work because the keywords are usually easier to rank for than others (for example London + photographers, or any other city, county, or location). Also, Google seems more relaxed with local sites that have duplicate content, and they will not be penalised because those sites target a local niche. Or rather than duplicate it, the content can also be spun and reused for many other sites.

In this lead generation business model, if a photographer fails to pay us for qualified leads, even after all the work we have put in to generate those leads for them (SEO, web design, content writing, etc), we can just give the leads to a new photographer (often a competitor) instead. The new business we send leads to will pay us on a pay-per-qualified-lead basis and we will thus establish a new relationship.

It is important that the business model is followed as intended, if you offer photography leads in Oxford, but you’re showing it to photographers based in Glasgow, you will not sell many of those leads. Hence why it is essential to target local keywords, and I would say even super-local keywords, to break up a big city into smaller search units. The search traffic will be much lower, but proportionally, conversions will be higher.

If you are a photographer in the UK, and you can see we serve your area or city, do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to be considered, for leads.

We own 100 websites which are a mix of cities, counties, countries, parks, and islands. Not all of them will generate leads straight away, but some of the ones that were built in late 2020, are growing in statute and generating more leads. It’s just a question of establishing them.

This can vary hugely. Some areas are more popular than others, and this will be reflected in the number of leads generated. However, because we do not offer a subscription service, but a pay-per-lead service, you will not pay for leads you have not received yet.

We are already considering changing the lead generation business model, to change the company into a UK-wide photography agency. That way, we can then get repeat business and hence commissions from clients who enquire through our websites.

It really depends on the job we refer. Our minimum commission is £20 for say portraits or couple/family photography. For corporate shoots, we charge £50 and up to £100 for big wedding qualified leads.

Our aim is not to put several photographers in competition per area for the same leads. We send one lead per photographer at any one time. We may have two or more photographers per area if they offer different services. Say one does weddings only, and the other portraits and events. Then we will send them leads targeted to their specialties.

Technically yes, as we serve some areas that have several cities close together, or we have sites for a county and several cities in that county. But then, if another photographer is interested in receiving leads from that area, we will need to share them between you and them.

This could be because of a few things. It could be because you have not paid us commission for the leads we sent you, or it could also be because we got feedback from the clients who generated the leads and they were not very happy with the service they received or the quality of the photographs, or even because you did not book any of the leads we sent you, or finally because leads dried up for your area.
